Jim Dreiss, AIA, Vice President

Jim Dreiss joined LUSK Architects in October 1998. As the company's vice president, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the studio, including scheduling, staffing, and overseeing quality control on all projects. He also serves at project manager on various assignments.

During his 17 years in the industry, Jim has developed an astute attention to detail that translates into success for the firms' clients, and he enjoys the wide variety of opportunities and projects he is involved with at LUSK Architects. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University in 1989. He is registered in the state of Ohio and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Andrew Hubbard, Vice President, Design

Andrew Hubbard joined LUSK Architects in 2007, and serves as vice president of design. With more than 20 years of experience, he has a rich background in retail and entertainment design and program management. Experienced on both the client and the architectural side of major retail and multiuse developments, Andrew understands project design and development not only from the aesthetic and functional side, but also from the client’s profitability side.

Prior to joining LUSK Architects, Andrew led multiple design teams in developing new store and branding concepts. He also served as director of store planning and design for Galyan’s Trading Company, and spent a year as senior designer for The Design Company in Capetown, South Africa.Andrew graduated in architecture from The Ohio State University in 1986, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), PAVE, and serves on the advisory board for Display and Design Ideas Magazine.

John E. Kloch, AIA, LEED AP, Vice President

John joined LUSK Architects in 2008, and serves as Leader of our Health Care Studio. He also has business development and project management responsibilities. With more than 35 years of professional experience in planning, design and construction of commercial, health care, long-term care, residential, and religious/worship types of projects, he consistently delivers completed projects on time and on budget.

Prior to joining LUSK Architects, John was the managing principal of an architectural firm in Southern Ohio. And he led the design and development of numerous clinical and non-clinical facilities across Ohio and the Midwest, from client development through planning and construction documentation. John earned his Architecture degree from Ohio University, and is registered in four states. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Health Care Engineering (ASHE), Construction Specifications Institute (ASI), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
