whittier peninsula

As-yet undetermined acreage
Downtown Columbus, Ohio

The master plan for this project was to take an environmentally spoiled piece of land and transform it into a mixed-use community anchored by a new environmentally sensitive park designed by the Columbus Department of Park's and Recreation.

Over the years, the site served as a dump, housed factories, and most recently, was home to Columbus' impound lot. But LUSK Architects was able to reclaim the land and develop a solution that parcels out sections to various experts in housing, commercial, and retail development.

Soon, the site will have new life as a thriving downtown community.
